JAWA 730 Twin
As part of the ongoing expansion of JAWA motorcycle production in Týnec nad Sázavou, we are proud to introduce our new model, the JAWA 730 Twin.
Today, it is standard practice for leading motorcycle manufacturers to use components from renowned suppliers around the world. The new JAWA 730 Twin follows the same philosophy — and continues the long-standing tradition of our brand. This unique motorcycle is built in our factory in Týnec nad Sázavou, with the primary goal of offering our loyal customers a more robust Czech motorcycle in a higher displacement category, while preserving the characteristic design DNA of earlier JAWA models. For its construction, we have incorporated selected components from trusted European manufacturers of motorcycles and motorcycle parts.
Why the name Twin?
Just like many other Czech manufacturers, we enjoy drawing inspiration from our own history when naming new models. In this case, the reference goes back to the 1980s, when the successful JAWA 350 Type 638 Twin Sport was produced. The second reason for choosing this name looks not to the past, but to the near future. The designer’s task was to create a unified visual identity for the JAWA 730 Twin and JAWA 1000, so that the two motorcycles would appear as twins.
Together with the JAWA 400 Geeny, the JAWA 730 Twin and JAWA 1000 form a new product line connected by several key elements: a similar frame architecture, an inline two‑cylinder engine, and a Czech VIN code (Vehicle Identification Number).
